Profile of Threshold Training Associates

TTA language school was founded in 1995 with the aim to provide both high quality and comprehensive services in the area of language training. It specialises in teaching academic, business and professional language. About 80% of our training involves comprehensive programs that are adapted to cater for the needs of individual clients and based on a detailed knowledge of the area a particular company operates in.

The strengths of our language school include the individual care of each student, i.e. from the methodological and teaching point of view and as regards administrative aspects as well as the comprehensive provision of language services for a particular client, including translations and interpreting.

Besides general language lessons, we also offer business and professional English (as well as other languages) that are specifically adapted to the client's needs. In such specific cases, our teachers prepare a major part of their teaching materials themselves and often help clients with their correspondence in a foreign language and proofread their contracts and promotional materials etc.

We are also able to arrange language courses abroad for you (England, Ireland, Wales, USA, Malta, Germany and Austria) and specialise in courses for middle and top management.

Apart from company courses, we also offer courses for the public. These include morning or evening courses, courses preparing students for international language exams and various specialised courses.

Language training takes place in our language school all year, even during holidays. Summer intensive courses and holiday courses are a welcome change from regular all-year courses for our students. We offer two types: every-day courses in our classrooms in Prague 5 in Barrandov and courses outside of Prague where students stay throughout the entire course.

Threshold Training Associates was one of the first accepted members of the Czech Association of Language Schools. This is a guarantee for the clients that the school provides high quality services in the area of language tuition, methodological support and organisation and administration. One of the principal aims of the Association is to provide clients with information that would help them select a high quality language school.
