A "threshold" signifies a beginning and an end; we step over a threshold, when we first enter our home or when we're leaving it; we cross thresholds throughout our whole life. Figurative thresholds separate different stages of our life path and fasten its course, just as the thresholds on the Vltava river have done for many centuries. A threshold was also the first thing that a human hand cut in a wooded basin surrounded by mountains and the reason why the new home of Princess Libuše was named "Praha" (in Czech, "práh" means "threshold"). |

Aside from in-company language training, we also offer public language courses in Prague , Krkonše mountains and in Great Britain. In the years 1995 to 2000, one of the company's owners was a British colleague thanks to whom TTA was able to make professional contacts and cooperate with Great Britain . We work with numerous carefully chosen language schools, some of which specialize in professional language training and provide training for internationally renowned organizations and institutions, including members of the financial sector. British Council has also given us a grant for a monthly internship in England , which focuses on the management of language schools. Thanks to our personal experience, we can recommend and provide you with study of all types of intensity and focus at no extra cost. |
For more advanced students, we also arrange for individual 1-4 day courses catered to their specific needs. The goal of these courses is to expand their vocabulary, practice speaking on different topics and practice the material in a situational context. Here are some examples of some prepared modules: Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills, Presentations, Human Resou rc es; based on the interest of our clients, our offers expand every day.

We employ about 110 teachers, of which about 1/3 are qualified native speakers. Teachers have a significant role in our company because no matter how much time we spend on the philosophy of the school, our clients spend most of their time in the hands of our teachers. We make an effort to make sure that aside from having proper qualifications, our teachers are also interesting people; so that they have enough energy and that necessary charisma and spark, thanks to which you're going to enjoy your time with them. |
