Not every parent is ready to send their child abroad alone on a course, and not every child has been a seasoned traveller since infancy. Summer holidays last longer than a typical vacation, so a high-quality day camp close to home, where children are meaningfully entertained all day long, seems like the ideal solution.
Our English Camps
Our summer programme for children aged 7–15 is light-hearted, experience-based, and led by proven teachers, mostly native speakers, who specialise in children's courses and teach them with real enthusiasm. We divide children into small groups by age and ability.
What can children look forward to this year?
We wanted to offer something sporty, creative and playful all at once – a camp that's a challenge, but an unconventional and gentle one. For us, mistakes are a "buddy" without which there'd be no progress.
At the "English and Unconventional Games and Sports" camp, children play sports, but most of them are new to the kids. They're only just learning them, so no one expects them to be experts straight away. They'll try dodgeball, ringo, kickball and maybe even disc golf.

At the English, Puppetry and Video Clips camp, our younger puppeteers come up with a story or a short puppet sketch, and a master puppeteer helps them dress and paint their puppets and teaches them how to work them. They'll build sets, rehearse their stories through games, and stage a big premiere on Friday. Teenagers, meanwhile, will swap puppetry for devising, filming and editing videos in various genres.
At the "Around the World in 5 Days" camp, we'll visit selected countries and introduce children to their quirks through hands-on experience. They'll prepare sushi, fold origami, or create their own anime. We won't promise steak for lunch, but afternoon tea isn't off the table either – once they've finished a running scrabble relay or an American dodgeball match, that is.
In the mornings, we stay mostly indoors, introducing children to the topic, vocabulary, rules of games and sports, script-writing and more through games, videos and short scenes. In the afternoons, we continue at nearby sports facilities or in the Prokop Valley with games and sports, or – in the case of the puppet and video courses – with story development, puppet-making and handling, rehearsing performances, or outdoor filming.
Fun and Learning, Hand in Hand
Experience, surprise, teamwork and laughter are the visible glue holding our camps together, while a carefully developed methodology and interconnected activities form their building blocks. What I see and hear, I forget – but what I experience, I can still use later. And if I repeat it, I outsmart Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve. Children need English to understand the rules so they can try out a game or sport. They need English to describe their puppet, write a story, perform a play, or make a video clip. Here, language is a tool the children use so they can do together what they enjoy. That they're learning along the way is our little summer secret.
Do you still have places available?
Places are still available, but each session is limited to just 36 children, and the atmosphere is wonderfully family-like, so don't wait too long. More information here.
