6) English and Minecraft: City of Heroes

A weekly English day camp for children aged 9 – 14.
Children will be divided into groups by age and level.

Create and learn English in the world of Minecraft!

Every young Minecraft fan's dream is coming true. By popular demand, we're once again running a Minecraft day camp this year – this time with the theme City of Heroes.

This camp is for children who love Minecraft and want more than "just playing". Over the course of the week, players will become heroes: they'll build their own city, complete story-driven missions, solve logic challenges and design clever, functional systems (just like in the real world).

They'll build secret bases, traps, catapults and farms – and above all, enjoy the satisfaction of seeing everything they've managed to create by the end.

Who is this camp for?

• children aged 9–11 and 12–14

• for Minecraft fans who want to level up their skills

• suitable for both beginners and more advanced players

What will children experience?

• build their own city of heroes and base

• try out Redstone and logical principles in practice

• create secret doors, traps, catapults and other mechanisms

• solve tasks and challenges within the storyline

• play mini-missions and team games

• improve teamwork, creative and logical thinking

How does it work?

Half a day at the computer with experts from Logiscool – building the City of Heroes in English. A new task and building challenge every day.

Half a day with Threshold language school teachers – English learned through play, inspired by heroes and the world of Minecraft. Children will naturally expand their vocabulary, pick up useful phrases and, above all, gain the confidence to communicate.

To put parents' minds at ease: we alternate computer work with active activities and breaks.
We provide the computers and software. At the end of the week, the children will present their city and heroes to you.

Summer English camps are organised on the language school's premises by our sister education company, Language and Training s.r.o. in cooperation with Logiscool ČR.

• Zrušíte-li svoji účast v kurzu 14 dní a méně před zahájením kurzu, kurzovné se nevrací. Kurzovné lze přesunout na další kemp, pokud bude volné místo.
• Zrušíte-li svoji účast v kurzu v rozmezí 15 – 30 dní před zahájením kurzu, bude Vám vráceno 50 % kurzovného. Celé kurzovné lze přesunout na další kemp, pokud bude volné místo.
• Zrušíte-li svoji účast v kurzu 31 a více dní před zahájením kurzu, bude Vám kurzovné vráceno v plné výši.
• V případě zrušení kurzu ze strany jazykové školy Vám bude kurzovné vráceno neprodleně v plné výši.
